Summary

From August 6, 2025 to October 25, 2026, 1,010 users completed an optional evaluation form displayed on their results page, indicating their personality type.
Of these users, 72.38% reported that the test correctly identified their personality type among the 16 types (a 5/5 response).

The evaluation form

After taking the Jung Cognitive Functions test, users could complete this optional form:

Of the 16 personality types, is this the one that fits you best?

Possible responses:

  • 5/5 - Yes, it’s my type.
  • 4/5 - No, I’m a different personality type, but this description fits me well.
  • 3/5 - No, I’m a different personality type, but this description partly fits me.
  • 2/5 - No, I’m a different personality type, and this description doesn’t fit me.
  • 1/5 - No, I’m a different personality type, and this description doesn’t fit me at all.
  • - - I don’t know my personality type. (neutral responses are excluded from calculations to avoid mixing uncertain opinions with positive or negative ones)

In this report, strict confirmation = a “5/5” response (full agreement with the suggested type).

For a negative response (1/5 to 4/5), users are invited to indicate the personality type they believe fits them better.

Counting method

We publish the following data:

  • Evaluators who specified their type: the number of evaluations received, excluding neutral responses and responses without a specified type, together with the proportion of strict confirmations (5/5).
  • All evaluators: the number of evaluations received, excluding neutral responses but including responses without a specified type.

Limitations and interpretation

  • Self-report: agreement is reported by the user, without external verification of their “actual type”. There is no guarantee that each user has done the research needed to identify their type. This report is therefore based on users’ own statements.
  • Missing details: responses from 1/5 to 4/5 where users did not specify a type that fits them better are excluded from the first group. These responses may nevertheless reflect real identification errors that users cannot explain, or negative opinions caused by an insufficient understanding of the suggested type. Including these 101 additional reviews brings the confirmation rate to 65.80% (N = 1,111).

Conclusion

During the period covered, 72.38% of evaluators who specified their personality type (N = 1,010) reported that the test correctly identified their type among the 16 types.
